Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for our client located in South Orange County. They are seeking a CPA out of public accounting that is motivated to learn and grow with their company. Great opportunity paying $105K plus bonus, hybrid work schedule, full benefits, PTO and paid holidays. This is a newly created role due to growth and company offers a great working environment with room to grow. Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Will support the full GL accounting and operations, along with working closely with all branches and staff at all levels
• Responsible for preparing and posting of the monthly journal entries
• Responsible for reconciliation and analysis of the GL accounts
• Handle prepaids, accruals, expenses, and fixed assets
• Work closely with AP and assist with proper coding of the payables
• Reconcile the cash accounts and ensure they balance with bank
• Reconcile the credit cards statements and the monthly credit card accruals
• Responsible for fixed assets, depreciations, additions and disposals
• Handle reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Monthly financial reporting and prepare schedules/documentation for the audits
• Assist with implementing and maintaining the internal controls Requirements for the Senior Accountant:
  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance, MBA desired
  • CPA and 2+ years experience working in public accounting
  • 3+ years of full cycle GL accounting experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical accounting background
  • Advanced Excel (vlookup/pivot tables)
