Job Description:
A company is looking for a remote Teacher of the Visually
Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual educational services to students
with visual impairments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide virtual, school-based services to students who are blind or
visually impaired
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs),
Functional Vision Assessments (FVAs), and Learning Media
Assessments (LMAs)
Adapt instructional materials and utilize assistive technology for
effective learning
Required Qualifications
Active state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
(TVI); Florida certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting students with visual
impairments in a school setting
Experience in developing and implementing educational
assessments
Comfort with virtual instruction and digital collaboration
tools
Organized and passionate about making education accessible
