You will work directly with senior management to help us research and transform complex technical concepts, specifications, and procedures into user-oriented information for non-technical and technical audiences for developing high-quality software documentation that meets user needs. You will collaborate with various functions and closely work with the Chief Technology Office, Development, Product SME and Specialists, Test, Dev Services, Product Quality and Security, Program Management, Release Train Management, UX Design, and Cloud DevOps teams.In this role you will:--- Work independently and as part of a global Technical Publications team on advanced, unstructured, and complex work--- Work with global teams in a busy, dynamic, and collaborative environment--- Design, develop, review, and publish high-quality technical documentation--- Improve the quality of content, adhere to the established standards and guidelines, and deliver on time--- Act as a subject matter expert and a strategic contributor to one or more programs or business units--- Manage, guide and mentor junior and senior staff--- Work closely with senior leadership to help define and implement cutting edge Technical Writing tools--- Suggest and implement processes and systems that enhance the performance and productivity of teams--- Resolve conflicts independently and deliver in sync with multiple teamsRequired Qualifications:--- Master's or bachelor's degree in English, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience--- 5-10 years of experience in technical writing and documentation development--- Knowledge of software product development and cloud computing services, with a specific focus on Documentation Operations and content management--- Proficient in managing complex projects--- Proficient at concepts, processes, and tools of technical writing and information development--- Proficient in using productivity tools from Microsoft and content management tools from Adobe--- Proficient at DITA, structured authoring, and component content management systems--- Proficient in using tools for screen capturing and recording and audio and video editingPreferred Qualifications:--- Experience in working with products and solutions in industrial software--- Experience in working with global agile and DevOps teams--- Experience in working with Author-it Cloud and Microsoft AzureAbout AVEVAAVEVA is a global leader in industrial software, driving digital transformation and sustainability.
