What you'll learn & achieve:
In this position you will be working directly with our customers to
certify the execution of all asbestos lead and hazardous materials
activities within commercial properties near the Orange County, CA
area. Our new team member will have strong communication skills
with the ability to work directly with our customers. If you
minimum of 4 years field experience, time management skills and
willingness to grow in the Environmental and Sustainability
industry this is a job for you.
- Asbestos and lead-based paint building inspections, asbestos
and lead air monitoring, and oversight and monitoring of
abatement/demolition contractors for abatement and/or
- Interact and communicate with clients and contractors on
- Respond to client field inquiries in a prompt, knowledgeable,
and courteous manner.
- Ultimate responsibility for the quality and timely collection
of field data.
- Collation and accounting of field samples.
- Knowledge of equipment and equipment software and operating
systems necessary for the recording and downloading of field
- Assist in report writing and documentation review.
- Adhere to all aspects of the health and safety program.
What makes you a great fit:
- BS in Environmental Science or Life Biology or minimum 4 years
experience in the field.
- California Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) with 4 years of
field experience for building inspection, air monitoring, and
oversight and monitoring of abatement contractors.
- NIOSH-582 Certified
- State of California Department of Public Health Lead-Based
Paint Inspector/Assessor OR Sampling Technician
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current with 8-hour
- Ability to carry 6-8 foot ladders and other objects greater
than 30 pounds.
- Availability to work nights and weekends when requested
