Job Description:
Turtle Rock Studios is looking for an IT Director to join the
team. This role will play an integral part of the studio's growth
and will oversee a small team to help plan and build out the
current and future needs of the studio. This person will be able to
effectively work and communicate across all departments to carry
out and execute planned projects.Responsibilities* Understand and
anticipate the IT needs of the studio and planning for studio
growth.* Define and execute a strategic vision for the IT
department.* Propose innovative solutions and continually improve
the efficiency of the studio.* Organize and monitor the studio's IT
budget and ensure cost effectiveness.* Own, implement and update
studio security policy.* Create and maintain project schedules for
major IT initiatives, working with Production as needed* Work
closely with department leads to understand IT requirements for
game development.* Expert knowledge of IT solutions within the
studio and with external vendors.* Act as a mentor for the IT team,
ensure their development and training.Requirements* Proven
experience as IT Director or similar role* 7-10 years of experience
in a fast changing IT environment* Experience in analysis,
implementation & evaluation of IT systems and their specifications*
Experience managing source control and task management systems such
as P4 and JIRA* Experience in controlling IT budgetPreferences*
