Job DescriptionSUMMARY: Overall responsibility for maintaining
the computer networks, servers, operating and processing systems,
and communication links. Manage the staff and resources dedicated
to supporting office automation, PCs and end-user equipment,
network and systems security, and database administration."To

Integrity, and Engagement."JOB SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of the IT Department's
24-hour environment. Manages staff responsible for installing,
supporting, and managing the Credit Union's hardware, software, and
network components. Coordinates and responds to support requests
from the company's ticketing system. Ensure SLAs are met on
projects and tickets. Ensure weekend and after-hours coverage is
maintained and serves the needs of the business.
- Oversees installation and maintenance of LAN/WAN/WLAN systems
Credit Union-wide. Responsible for purchasing, installing,
troubleshooting, and maintaining LAN/WAN/WLAN systems. Analyzes,
troubleshoots, and solves issues with network infrastructure
including, but not limited to, network monitoring techniques and
tools that support unattended operations and daily network-related
alerts and activities. Tests network performance and provide
network performance statistics and reports; develops strategies for
maintaining the network infrastructure.
- Develop and manage plans for implementation of new products –
coordinating process with the project leader. Provide well-defined
plans including procedures, documentation, deadlines, and
accountability.
- Serve as tier two technical support staff for local and remote
personnel to obtain technical support for PC workstation hardware,
software, and connectivity to network or telecommunications
systems.
- Leads and provides technical support for the credit union's
Disaster Recovery Testing of critical systems and
infrastructure.
- Assist in the development of short- and long-term technology
objectives, plans, and priorities necessary to satisfy the
operational needs of ECCU. Identify technology solutions or
improvements that will increase availability and resiliency while
maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures,
applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to, the
Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets
Control. Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: To

functions.Education/Experience: Five years of previous experience
with the specific types of business systems, hardware, and
networking services utilized by the credit union. Need a technical
background, as well as business acumen and people management
skills.Three to five years related work. Prefer previous credit
union experience.Language Ability: Must have strong interpersonal
and communication abilities. A strong customer service orientation
is a must because information technology managers often serve as
the final escalation point for high-visibility troubleshooting.Math
Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all
units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw
and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common
sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving
several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be able
to assess any given situation and bring to a successful
resolution.Computer Skills: MS Word and Excel proficient, Outlook,
and PowerPoint. Strong knowledge of Symitar Core system and other
Jack Henry & Associates products including, Synergy, Episys,
Enterprise Workforce, and Xperience.Certificates and Licenses: No
certifications are neededSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has
supervisory responsibilities.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

performed at a desk in a typical office environment that is
generally clean and has limited exposure to conditions like dust,
fumes, odors, noises, etc. Physical demands include occasional

prolonged periods of time. Have unlimited ability to use of hands
to handle objects, write, type, etc. Incumbents must also see well

receive and/or respond to information verbally and have the manual
dexterity to operate a keyboard and/or calculator. Travel may be
required to and from branches and other various locations.
