Job DescriptionWe are seeking Tier II Call Center Representatives to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls typically to healthcare providers regarding claims and eligibility. Training periods range from one to two weeks depending upon the assignment. This position is for permanent hire, not seasonal.--Please note this is a remote position and applicants must live in Southern California so equipment can be managed by the Lake Forest office.Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with healthcare providers to assess validity of claims
  • Obtains and verifies client information by answering telephone calls and speaking with clients
  • Determines demographics by comparing client information to requirements
  • Improves data accuracy by entering client information or confirming existing data accuracy
  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new training materials and by participating in educational opportunities
  • Recommends improvements to procedures---Required Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in call centers, customer service, sales, or related fields
    • Previous experience in healthcare, preferably on the payer side
    • Longevity with past employers and strong record of timeliness and attendance
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Positive and professional demeanor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must live in the Lake Forest, CA area
