Job Description:
Job Description The Technical Services Representative will
ensure that materials are designed, created, and produced in
accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements.
Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable

--- Knowing and understanding the impact of various aggregates,
cements, supplementary cementitious materials and admixtures and
their impact to the performance characteristics of the concrete mix
design. --- Professionally communicate with customers, inspectors,
internal personnel and sales group in regard to the impact of the
various constituents of the mix design. --- Review project
specifications. --- Generate mix designs and complete project
submittals. --- Complete required training and become certified by
ACI as a Certified Concrete Technician Grade 1, and Certified
Strength Testing Technician. --- Test concrete cylinders. --- Test
coarse and fine aggregate gradations, SE and CV. --- Weigh trial
batches, batch them and cast concrete cylinders, MOE cylinders and
shrinkage beams. --- Support the delivery of concrete at various
project locations at various hours. --- Support and promote
customer satisfaction both in an office environment and on project
sites. --- Respond to customer concerns and evaluate concrete
defects and determine the cause of the defects. --- Knowing and

Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory
responsibilities. Work Environment While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office working
environment with climate controlled ambiance. The noise level in
the work environment is usually moderate. Employee must wear
required personal protective equipment; up to and including safety
vest, hard hat, ear protection, gloves and safety glasses as
required. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are
representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. ---
Required to remember and understand certain instructions,
guidelines or other information. --- Prolonged periods of sitting
at a desk and working on a computer. --- Must be able to lift up to
15 pounds at times. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a
full-time position, and hours of work and days are subject to the
shift assigned. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience --- High school diploma or
equivalent required --- Positive, customer service attitude and
effective communication skills --- Basic computer skills required
--- Candidate must have effective communication skills in the
English language in both written and verbal form. Preferred
Education and Experience --- Four years of practical, hands on
experience. Additional Eligibility Qualifications --- Ability to
understand concrete mix design, admixtures, aggregates, cements and
supplementary cementitious materials. If applicable, training may
be provided. --- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
including Outlook, Word and Excel. --- Ability to work with limited
supervision. --- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
along with maintain your appearance in a manner that will
positively reflect the company. --- Able to work nights and
weekends to satisfy departmental and customer requirements. ---
Ability to lift heavy samples of aggregates, density samples,
concrete cylinders, concrete beams --- Ability to complete the
physical process of casting cylinders, beams and various other
