Eyestyles Lake Forest is a highly successful optometry practice serving the OC population for over 30 years. Eyestyles' staff consists of four optometrists and expert frame dispensers with a combined experience of over 125 years. With our state-of-the-art lab, and our precise attention to detail, we assure that our patient's vision will be enhanced, more comfortable, and unlike anything they've experienced before. We carry the boldest styles and state-of-the-art lens designs on the market. Our staff strives to guide and educate all of our customers about frame materials, manufacturing processes, and designs. We're seeking a part-time, temporary fill-in candidate, from September 2023-January 2024. This position could potentially evolve into a permanent position. As an optometrist, you will be expected to use your skills and knowledge to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. To qualify for this role, you must be state-licensed and possess in-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills. Optometrist Responsibilities: Perform thorough routine eye examinations. Identify the patient's visual alertness, the field of vision, and hand-eye coordination. Prescribe corrective lenses and medications for glaucoma. Maintain accurate medical files for all patients. Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques. Identify and assess eye defects and diseases such as diabetes and glaucoma. Record all diagnosis and treatment plans, including transfers and therapeutic prescriptions. Optometrist Requirements: Doctor of optometry (O.D.) degree. Must possess a state-issued license for O.D. and optometry. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditions. Customer service oriented with excellent analytical skills.
