A company is looking for a Per Diem Surgical Coding Specialist,
Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records and translate information into codes
for insurance claims
Provide technical guidance to medical staff regarding coding issues
and documentation errors
Conduct peer reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
with coding standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in
Medical Billing and Coding preferred
2-3 years of medical coding experience required
In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
Strong understanding of coding guidelines and industry best
practices
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced
environment
