Job Title: Affiliated Home Care Aide - Make a Meaningful

Functions/Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with their daily routines,
including bathing, dressing, grooming, using the toilet, and other
personal care needs. We'll make sure they feel their best!
- Mobility Support: Help clients move around safely, whether it's
walking, transferring from bed to chair, or getting comfortable in
their favorite spot.
- Medication Reminders: Provide helpful reminders to take their
medications (we can't administer them, but we can lend a
hand!).
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious and tasty meals, and assist
with feeding, always keeping their dietary needs in mind.
- Light Housekeeping: Keep their living space tidy and
comfortable with light housekeeping tasks like laundry, dusting,
and vacuuming. (Think of it as creating a cozy haven!)
- Companionship & Emotional Support: Be a friendly face, engage
in conversations, offer encouragement, and participate in
activities that bring them joy. Your companionship is
invaluable!
- Respite Care: Give family caregivers a well-deserved break,
providing support and peace of mind.
- Errands & Outings: Accompany clients on shopping trips,
errands, medical appointments, or outings, making sure they stay
connected to the community.
- Communication Assistance: Help with writing letters, making
calls, or finding information online.
- Observation & Reporting: Keep a watchful eye on clients'
well-being and report any concerns to our team so we can ensure
they receive the best possible care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of the care you
provide.
- Teamwork & Training: Participate in team meetings and training
sessions to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on best
practices.
- Safety First: Always follow our safety guidelines and policies
to protect both yourself and our clients.Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Listed on the Home Care Aide Registry.
- A current Tuberculosis (TB) certificate.
- Valid 1-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents.
- A completed Criminal Record Statement.
- A current driver's license and valid vehicle insurance.
- We prefer candidates with current American Heart Association
BLS or Heart Saver/First Aid/AED CPR certification, but it's not
required.
- You'll need to complete a minimum of five (5) hours of
entry-level training before working with clients.
- Having one (1) year of experience working with older adults or
individuals with disabilities is a plus!What You Need to Shine:

with client mobility.A Glimpse into Your Workday:
- Your day will involve a mix of standing, walking, and some
sitting.
- You'll be moving around, bending, and assisting clients, so
being physically fit is important.
- You might need to lift or carry items up to 24 lbs frequently
and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
