Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Document Integrity
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitates clinical documentation reviews to ensure accurate
reflection of services and acuity of care
Communicates with healthcare teams to ensure complete documentation
of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
Initiates provider queries for documentation clarification and
performs follow-ups to ensure accuracy
Required Qualifications and Education
3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience, preferably in
critical care, or 5 years nursing experience including 3 years in
critical care
Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS or CDIP) to be
obtained within 6 months of hire
Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
