qualified Internal Medicine MD in California! About The Position We
are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician for a locum
tenens position at a hospital in California. This 120-day
assignment offers full-time coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the
possibility of part-time coverage for a minimum of 3 days per week,
starting 07/28/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with
internal medicine basics, including managing chronic and acute
issues, cold, cough, flu, and pain management in a rural healthcare
setting. Responsibilities include overseeing two APPs, taking over
an existing patient panel, and seeing walk-in patients when
available. This opportunity presents an excellent chance for a
dedicated professional to provide comprehensive internal medicine
care in a rural hospital setting, with potential for assignment

and Duties: • Provide comprehensive internal medicine care for
adult patients • Manage chronic health conditions and acute issues
• Treat common illnesses such as cold, cough, and flu • Oversee and
collaborate with two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) • Take over
an existing patient panel • See walk-in patients as availability
allows • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures •
Develop and implement treatment plans • Provide patient education
on health maintenance and disease prevention • Maintain accurate
and timely patient records using Cerner EMR system • Ensure
high-quality patient care and follow all hospital protocols and
safety standards • Adapt to existing workflows and practices in a
rural healthcare setting Additional Information: • Must be licensed
to practice medicine in California • Experience in internal
medicine required • Comfort with rural healthcare practices and
challenges • Ability to work independently and as part of a team •
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week) •
