Job Description:
Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital
classified as a stroke receiving center and Level I Trauma Center
with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based
Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides
a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute
care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery,
neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as
well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics. GENERAL
DUTIES: This position is responsible for the coordination of the
clinical activities of the wound care program. Responsibilities
include: Utilization of skills in organization, leadership,
planning, implementing, evaluating and providing care as it relates
to the age and specific needs of the patient. Works within the
framework of the State Nurse Practice Act and follows all Hospital
policies and procedures as Complies with Hospital, wound care, and
nursing philosophies/standards in the performance of job duties and
responsibilities. Supports the goals and objectives of the Wound
Care program. The Clinical Manager demonstrates an ability to
respond and provide direction in changing workload during crisis
and emergency situations. Completes and transmits IRF-PAI. Access
to all Patient Health Information for treatment purposes only. In
