Job Description:
Vituity, a pioneer in healthcare management services, is seeking
a Residency Program Director to oversee our dynamic residency
programs in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care,
anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry. This role is pivotal in
shaping the future of healthcare professionals by providing them
with rigorous training, real-world experience, and the leadership
skills necessary for outstanding patient care in high-pressure
environments. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of clinical
expertise, educational acumen, and a passion for mentorship to
nurture the next generation of healthcare leaders. Develop and
implement educational programs and curriculums that meet both
accreditation standards and the mission of Vituity. Oversee the
recruitment, selection, and evaluation of residents. Mentor and
advise residents, and monitor their progress throughout the
program. Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure that the
training provided meets the current standards of medical practice.
Manage program accreditation processes and ensure compliance with
national educational standards. Prepare and manage the program
budget, ensuring effective use of resources. Lead continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance program quality and
effectiveness. Act as a liaison between the residency program and
other departments within the hospital. Strong leadership and
organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment. Deep understanding of medical education and curriculum
development. Familiarity with accreditation processes and
requirements. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Board Certification in a relevant medical
specialty. Experience in an accredited residency program leadership
role. Membership in relevant professional organizations, such as
the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
