Registered Nurse (RN) | Wound/Ostomy Location: Newport Beach, CA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $3,199 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ```htmlJob Opportunity – Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) – Southern California Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Newport Beach, California Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Highlights: Serve as the clinical resource for ostomy, continence, wound care, and skin integrity management Provide direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings Lead educational initiatives and bedside teaching for nursing staff and healthcare teams Collaborate on evaluation of skin and wound products, treatment protocols, and prevention strategies Assess and manage hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPI) with full reporting accountability Local travel required; valid driver's license and insurance in good standing necessary Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) certification required Minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience Two (2) years of experience in wound and ostomy care preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills Knowledge of infection control, patient safety protocols, and relevant technology Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes by leading wound and ostomy care initiatives across clinical settings.
