Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year A bit about us: We represent people who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of a corporation, business, governmental entity or individual with insurance. We specialize in a wide array of injury cases with an emphasis on brain, spine and catastrophic injuries. We also represent individuals in a range of employment matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation and more. Managing a caseload of 30-40 cases acting as the lead attorney through all aspects of litigation from filing through trial Developing case strategies and theories Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Taking and defending depositions including plaintiff, defendant, experts, and more Engaging in settlement negotiations Acting as second chair in trials Maintaining client communication to provide updates on case progress Overseeing and directing Paralegal and other support staff Why join us? Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 3 years’ experience in personal injury civil litigation (Plaintiff Side) Ability to work in Torrance, CA office at least 4 days/week Experience managing own caseload including taking/defending motions, drafting motions, discovery, etc. Trial experience a plus but not required.
