We are a leading legal firm seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be an integral part of our legal team, providing high-level support to our attorneys, participating in case planning, preparation, and management, and ensuring the smooth running of our legal processes. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Paralegal, you will be tasked with: 1. Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters, including conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for depositions and court proceedings. 2. Coordinating and managing case files, ensuring all relevant information is accessible and well-organized. 3. Interacting with clients, opposing counsel, judicial administrative staff, and other relevant parties to gather and disseminate information. 4. Participating in client meetings and strategy discussions, providing insights and suggestions based on your legal knowledge and experience. 5. Ensuring compliance with court rules and protocols, as well as with our firm’s internal policies and procedures. 6. Managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks to ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. 7. Contributing to the development and implementation of office systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting. 2. A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or an equivalent qualification. 3. Excellent legal research and writing skills, with a keen eye for detail. 4. Strong organizational and case management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. 5. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. 6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels. 7. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. 8. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion at all times. 9. A strong sense of ethics and integrity, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.
