Job Description:
We provide IT support across 15 campuses in the U.S. and 4
international campuses. We support all staff and volunteers in a
65% Mac and 35% Windows environment.Primary Duties:
- Acquiring, deploying, repairing, and trouble-shooting
computers, I.P printers, and associated devices - work with IT
Services PM/Infrastructure Analyst and Network Engineering team to
provide Level II support for off-the-shelf applications and
systems
- Working trouble tickets, working with other team members on
projects, providing telephone support, walkup staff, and responding
to general needs - work with the end-user community to assist in
on-boarding, SaaS solutions, and maintaining in-house based legacy
systems
- Assist in product license management
- Ongoing training and developing a better workflow to serve our
staff and volunteersQualifications and Experiences:
- Help Desk Technician experience is required
- A college degree is preferred, and/or CompTIA A+
- Experience with Azure
- Must have knowledge working in a shared Mac/Windows
environment
- Must be able to create images and assess and resolve problems
with hardware and software
- Current knowledge of OS X and Windows 10/11 is preferred
- Must be familiar with installing software, repairing and
replacing hardware parts including hard drives, RAM, and
miscellaneous parts
- Must be comfortable with installing printers, monitors, USB
drives, updating various operating systems, and other basic
computer parts
- This position might cover the weekend shift
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds of equipment as
needed
- Self-starter and a willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with JAMF a plus
