Job Description:
A company is looking for a VP, Privacy and Compliance
Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on data privacy and security regulations
Manage a team addressing privacy and compliance needs across the
company
Draft and update privacy policies and conduct compliance
training
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in privacy law, with some
in-house experience preferred
JD degree from an accredited law school and a current member of a
US state bar
Experience in building privacy and regulatory compliance
programs
One or more IAPP certifications (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, etc.)
preferred
Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws, particularly in
healthcare
