Job DescriptionFujitsu Frontech North America Inc.Job PostingQA AnalystFull Time – Regular, Works at Company siteSUMMARY Responsible for creating and maintaining test environments & procedures, implementing quality assurance best practices to ensure high quality software applications releases, and working with SW Engineering to review test procedures and results for currency dispensing and recycler hardware from Fujitsu Frontech Inc.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;· Apply QA industry best practices to develop standards, methods, and procedures to quantify product quality and release readiness· Create test scenarios, test cases, test script, estimate test coverage based on SDD & SRS · Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates· Create pass/fail test report(s) that highlight anomalies and provide statistics to SW engineering for further analysis· Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in FCL software and configuration software program functions, outputs and content· Identify program variances from standards and suggest modifications to SW engineering· Prepare hardware & software related test environments required for QA certification· Work with engineering to ensure use of current and consistent hardware and software test configurations that our customers use· Collaborate with engineering to review testing procedures, testing tools and results· Responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with software engineers for questions, defects, and continual improvements for FFNA software· Work with engineers from our customers to do collaborative QA tests. Learn how to use customer applications in order to understand customer environments· Maintain, control, organize, and backup all documentation, software applications, customer actual configuration/application and images needed to test applications on multiple hardware platforms · Work with Product management, engineering and software development to integrate quality guidelines within product requirement specifications· Communicate project status and submit SW release approvals to manager· Responsible for providing release readiness software and documents to System Engineers to be officially posted on a network site for customers· Regular work site attendanceOther Duties and Responsibilities: · Research moderately complex software issues problems related to quality· Adhere to company policies, ISO requirements, safety and quality· Support continual improvement efforts· Other duties as assigned. COMPUTER SKILLS · Effectively use computer and applicable computer software. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Individual must be PC literate and have the aptitude to learn operation of other computer systems. · Experience with software version control such as MS TFS, SVN, or Git preferred· Familiarity with Excel and SharePoint applications to track incident fixes, test configuration, result and the ability to query and export reports for defect analysis · Familiarity with C# and C++ applications and related drivers of electromechanical devicesREASONING ABILITYDemonstrate ability to effectively apply common sense and follow through to daily tasks; demonstrate ability to work with little or no supervision; demonstrate excellent analytical skills; demonstrate ability to efficiently conduct research. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
