We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Our rapid diagnostics solutions are helping address some of the world's greatest healthcare challenges.The Planner / Buyer is responsible for ensuring the ongoing supply of materials and finished products for the portfolio of products under the business category. The role will focus on demand and supply planning as well as the purchasing activities to support the new portfolio of products and services.The role requires someone who is a good communicator who can build relationships at all levels and must be able to meet deadlines and liaise across functions, BUs and regions.The job holder will be analytical with a keen eye for detail, ensuring strong data integrity at all time, with a proactive, energetic attitude and able to react quickly to the changing demands and priorities of the business. The job holder is required to analyze complex processes and determine improvement opportunities to reduce complexity, to optimize cost, service levels and compliance.It is also expected that the job holder will understand the requirements of a strong Quality Management System necessary for the medical device industry and will work closely with colleagues in the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs functions.What You'll Work On
    • The key responsibility of the job holder is to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time and in full to meet our service level commitments. As such the job holder must; -
      • Work with the supplier base of vendors and third party kitting providers to ensure purchase orders are placed on time and inventory levels are maintained to ensure service levels to Customers
      • Manage the set up of procured materials and vendor details
      • Support local warehousing activities to ensure efficient receipt, pick and pack of customer orders
      • Work with vendors to ensure proper delivery documentation for products, parts, and materials is available for shipments to be transported efficiently and delivery instructions are adhered to
      • Support Marketing with NPI process management to minimize obsolescence of current materials and the efficient implementation of new items.
      • Work with Commercial leaders to construct and update a finished goods product forecastRequired Qualifications
        • High school diploma requiredPreferred Qualifications
          • Bachelors degree in supply chain or a relevant field.
          • Experience with ERP systems
          • Experience managing the supply/demand planning process
