Product Analyst - Mortgage Servicing

TheProduct Analystwill work closely with business units to gain
in-depth understanding of Mortgage Servicing strategies, processes,
roadmaps, and the context in which the business and IT operates and
interacts with all stakeholders. The Product Analyst is responsible
for delivering quality products by understanding end user needs,
developing detailed requirements, writing user stories, supporting
technical designs and process improvement. The candidate will work
with various stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and
validate business/user requirements. The Product Analyst will help
translate these business needs and end-user requirements into
functional specifications which are captured in User Stories that
describe what the system, process or service must do to fulfill the
Lead Agile Scrum meetings involving the business, management, IT
and senior leadership
Ensure User Stories meet the definition of ready
Perform complex business analysis and requirements gathering
through the facilitation of joint application design (JAD) sessions
with both business and technology stakeholders
Write detailed specifications of requested system changes
Write data specifications, release notes, user guides and other
deliverables as needed
Assist with creation & refinement of design (mockup) on new
Develop and execute data mapping plans for conversions, migrations,
and system integrations
Suggest software and process improvements
Write queries to analyze business data to assist in decision making
and ad hoc reporting
Able to follow a formal software development life cycle (SDLC)
process to develop software
Use common techniques and tools for data modeling, UI design, and
process flow diagramming
Use common techniques and tools for modeling system diagrams,
processes, and interfaces
Work with Product owner to Build and maintain the Product Backlog
and Product Roadmap
Minimum of 5+ years experience in Agile Product Analyst or similar
Agile Experience: Experience operating in an agile environment.
This includes story writing, backlog management, functional
decomposition, working with a product owner and managing the
Experience in the Mortgage Servicing industry preferred.
Familiarity with BKFS Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) a plus.
Preferred Domain Knowledge: Performing and Non-performing (Default)
Servicing, Payment Processing, CRM, Customer Service, Contact
Center, IVR, Document Management, Servicing Data, B2C, Web,
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication
skills along with excellent meeting facilitation skills to
effectively lead Agile Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Reviews,
Story Refinement sessions, and Feature Discovery sessions.
Basic Systems Understanding: Comfortable performing basic technical
tasks using SQL, Azure DevOps, and MS Office. Critical thinker,
able tolearn quickly, converse confidently with business partners,
gather requirements, and suggest solution options.
Key Competencies/Behaviors: Self Starter, proactive, organized,
collaborative, professional presence (can lead meetings
confidently), high emotional intelligence (works well with others),
thinks strategically and not just tactically.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
