Job Description:
A company is looking for a Research Technician to support
climate-related initiatives through data analysis and public
messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze climate data to assess the impact of climate change on
weather events
Develop public-facing materials that communicate the links between
climate change and extreme weather
Collaborate with various teams to translate scientific analyses
into operational products
Required Qualifications
Training or experience in climate science, meteorology, earth
sciences, or a related field
Experience with Python for analyzing and visualizing large climate
and geospatial datasets
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with statistical approaches for analyzing time series
and multivariate data
